The Kent State baseball team completed a weekend sweep in Bowling Green, winning 10-1 and 8-2 Sunday after rolling to victory in a 14-0 no-hitter Friday.
The Golden Flashes improved to 39-11 overall and 20-4 in the Mid-American Conference.
Starter Andy Ravel (7-4) pitched seven strong innings, allowing just one earned run, for the Flashes in Sunday’s first game. Kent State pounded out 15 hits, three each by Luke Burch and Dom Iero (North Canton Hoover). Tim Dalporto drove in three runs and Zarley Zalewski and Iero each had two RBI.
In the nightcap, Eli Kraus (Buckeye) improved to 9-1.
