KNOXVILLE, Tenn.- The No. 13 Kent State women's golf team sit in second place in the Mercedes-Benz Championship through 36 holes of play on Monday.
Led by Michaela Finn, the Flashes were able to cut 19 strokes from their round one score. The team moved up eight spots in the second round while Finn leaped 21 positions.
Through a rain-soaked day, Kent State finished the first round of golf with a 19-over par 303 score. After round one, the Flashes rebounded with a team score of even-par 284 in round two later in the day.
