LEWISBURG, Pa. – Second quarter goals by Luisa Knapp and Corynne Hammit were enough for 24th-ranked Kent State to earn a 2-1 victory Sunday at Bucknell.
The Golden Flashes (10-4) found a way to win its second game of the week despite only registering four shots and extended their season-best winning streak to five.
Luisa Knapp got the scoring started with 7:03 to play in the second period, maneuvering around the goalkeeper to find the back of the net after a pass from Syndey Carr.
