AUSTIN, Texas – The No. 13 Kent State women's golf team is in position to make a push for the tournament title through two rounds of the Betsy Rawls Longhorn Invitational at the par-72, 6,278 yard University of Texas Golf Club. Kent State is currently in second place at two-over par 578 (282-296).
The 2015 tournament champion Golden Flashes currently lead hosts No. 20 Texas by six strokes and the rest of the field by at least 12. Kent State is within striking distance of No. 12 Miami, currently leading at 15-under par.
