New School Record Highlights Strong Showing at Kent State Tune-Up

KENT, Ohio- A school record being broken highlighted the end of regular season competition for the Kent State indoor track and field team as they hosted the Kent State Tune-Up on Saturday.

Headlining the meet for the Golden Flashes was freshman Leah Pasqualetti who, on her final attempt, broke Sam Tollerud's school record in the women's pole vault with a height of 14' 0.5", a mark that moves her just inside the top 16 in the country.

Also making a strong push to qualify for the National Championship was Grace Tennant, who won the women's shot put with a new personal best throw of 55' 2".
