BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – Kent State senior Donovan Tolbert captured 12th place in the triple jump at the 2016 NCAA Division I Track and Field Championships on Saturday, March 12th in Birmingham, Ala.
Tolbert, the MAC triple jump champion, posted a mark of 15.52m (50' 11") to take 12th. William Barnes, the MAC 60m hurdles and 200m dash champion competed in the 60m hurdles prelims on Friday, March 11th, finishing 15th with a time of 8.06.
The Kent State Track and Field teams kick off the 2016 outdoor season with the Yellow Jacket Relays on Friday, March 25th and Saturday, March 26th.
