YPSILANTI, Mich. – The Kent State gymnastics team narrowly defeated Eastern Michigan in a thrilling meet between Mid-American Conference foes on Sunday afternoon.
The Eagles posted a season-high 195.450 team score, but the Golden Flashes scored 49.00+ on three events en route to a 195.750 total. A season-high score on beam in the final rotation was the difference for the Flashes, who improve to 6-6 on the season and 3-2 against conference opponents.
