Shortly after the 2019 NFL Draft, Kent State nose tackle Kalil Morris (Columbus, Ohio) was signed as free agent by the Baltimore Ravens. Morris will be in Baltimore Friday for rookie minicamp.
After sitting out the 2017 season, Morris made a major impact on the Golden Flashes' defense in 2018. A focal point of the team's new 3-4 defense, he made 47 tackles with 6.0 tackles for loss and was named to the All-Mid-American Conference Second Team.
Morris was also chosen to participate in the College Gridiron Showcase. Before making a return trip to Baltimore, he will receive his bachelor's degree in May.
