AKRON, Ohio – Kent State's men's track and field team had an impressive showing on Saturday at the Northeast Ohio Quad, highlighted by victories in five events.
The 4x100m relay team consisting of William Barnes, Brandon Harris, Brian Smith, and Wayne Gordon collected their second victory of the season with a time of 40.43. Gordon and Harris took the top two spots in the 100m dash with times of 10.44 and 10.45, respectively.
Taking the 800m run title was Jacob Swords with a time of 1:52.
