KENT, Ohio- The Kent State men's basketball team won its sixth-straight game after defeating Wright State, 83-76, at the M.A.C. Center on Saturday night.
With the win, Kent State improves to 8-1 overall, the program's best start since the 2013-14 season, while Wright State fell to 4-6.
Senior Jaylin Walker led the Flashes with 26 points to go with seven rebounds and two steals as three other Kent State players reached double figures on the evening. Senior Jalen Avery had 15 points, junior Philip Whittington added 12 points and six rebounds, and junior Antonio Williams finished with 11 points and a game-high five assists.
