KENT, Ohio- The Kent State men's basketball team will be the No. 4 seed in the Mid-American Conference Tournament and receive a bye to the quarterfinal round Thursday at Quicken Loans Arena in Cleveland, Ohio.
The final seeds were locked into place Friday with the last regular season contest as the Flashes took down rival Akron, 68-65.
The other three teams to earn byes were No. 1 seed and regular season champion Buffalo, No. 2 seed and West Division champion Toledo, and No. 3 seed Bowling Green.
