The Kent State men's golf team will be competing in the Quail Valley Invitational over the next two days hosted by Michigan State University.
Jon Mills's team is carrying six golfers down south this weekend, as the Flashes aim to notch their second top five finish as a team.
The Golden Flashes excelled at Quail Valley two years ago, placing 2nd out of 16 clubs.
Chris Vandette won the tournament back in 2021, shooting a three round score of 202 which was good for 14 under par. Cade Breitenstine also placed in the top ten, tying for 6th.
