KENT, Ohio – The second men's basketball game of the Crystal Clinic Wagon Wheel Challenge between Kent State and Akron, hosted by the Golden Flashes, has been picked up by ESPN2. Tipoff for the March 3 game has been adjusted to 9 p.m.
The game is one of two in the program's historic rivalry, with the first showdown scheduled for Feb. 17 at Akron. That contest will be televised on ESPNU. The rivalry has been played 145 times since the 1915-16 season, with Kent State holding the edge, 73-72.
