KENT, Ohio – The Kent State men's basketball program has announced the signing of Troy Simons to its 2018 recruiting class. He will sit out the 2018-19 season due to NCAA transfer regulations and be eligible for the 2019-20 season.
"I'm really excited about Troy and what he can bring to our program, not just next year, but this year during the year he has to sit out," said Kent State head coach Rob Senderoff. "He is an ultra-competitive player and can really score the ball, and I'm happy for him to be a part of our program.
