KALAMAZOO, Mich. – Kent State's men's track and field finished the 2017 Mid-American Conference Outdoor Track & Field Championships in fourth-place, registering a total of 112 points. Individually, Reggie Jagers III and AJ Stevens captured championships in the discus and triple jump, respectively.
Jagers captured his second gold medal of the weekend, throwing 61.49m (201' 8.75") in the discus, establishing a championship and Kanley Track & Field Complex record. After the meet, Jagers named the MAC's Most Outstanding Field Performer. Taking fifth-place in the discus was Trevor Detillion at 51.
