McCracken And Shedenhelm Awarded MAC Medals of Excellence

CLEVELAND — Kent State student-athletes Colin McCracken and Cameron Shedenhelm have earned the Mid-American Conference's Medal of Excellence, as announced for the 2021-22 academic year.

The Medal of Excellence is presented annually to one male and one female student-athlete from the graduating class of each of the 12 Conference member institutions. Each school chooses a male and female student-athlete that exhibits excellence in their sport and in the classroom. A minimum 3.50 grade point average is required for eligibility.

McCracken was a two-time NCAA Wrestling Championships qualifier and 2022 MAC Championships runner-up at 184 lb.
