KENT, Ohio –– Kent State's Matt Harmon received a rookie minicamp invite with the Minnesota Vikings after spending seven seasons with the Golden Flashes, joining the program in 2018.
Harmon finished his career with the Flashes recording 105 tackles, 13 tackles for loss, seven passes defended, four sacks, two forced fumbles, two fumble recoveries, and one interception in 49 games. Harmon's standout season came this past season, finishing with a career-high 56 tackles, seven tackles for loss, and two sacks.
Harmon showed consistency this season, having seven games of at least five tackles, including a career-high nine tackles versus Ball State.
