CLEVELAND, Ohio – Nicole Yeargin has received Mid-American Conference Women's Track Athlete of the Week honors for the second time during the outdoor season, the league office announced Tuesday afternoon.
Yeargin ran the fastest 200m and 400m races in Kent State's women's outdoor track and field history in just under a span of 24 hours this past weekend at the UF Tom Jones Memorial. Yeargin tied her own school record with a wind-legal 23.26 in the 200m on Friday evening and came back Saturday afternoon to run the 400m in 53.51. Both times are the top in the MAC and top-50 nationally.
