Kent State (6-7, 1-2) fell at rival Akron 14-9 on Sunday afternoon in the team's third conference contest of the season. Goalkeeper Syndey Davis posted her third double-digit save performance in the last four games with 11 saves to keep the Flashes within touching distance. Davis holds the second-best goals-against average in the MAC at 10.
