MOON TOWNSHIP, Pa. - The Kent State lacrosse team won 13-10 against Robert Morris this afternoon.
The Golden Flashes (5-6, 2-0 MAC) recorded their first program victory over the preseason Mid-American Conference favorite Colonials and remain undefeated in league play.
Both teams scored in the opening minute of the game, and a goal by Emily Bond with 53 seconds remaining gave Kent State a 4-3 lead at the end of the first quarter.
Jackie Wolford's 100th career goal with 12:19 remaining in the second quarter put the Flashes ahead for good.
