RALEIGH, N.C. – Kristian Kneffler opened the outdoor track and field season by winning the men's pole vault to lead the way as 12 Kent State student-athletes competed at the Raleigh Relays.
Kneffler cleared 16'-4.75" to take first in the invitational section of the men's pole vault competition.
Angelina Lotarski placed sixth in the women's pole vault with a height of 11'-1.75".
Baidy Ba led the Golden Flashes on the track with a pair of top-50 finishes. Ba ran a time of 3:47.18 to take 36th in the men's 1500-meter run and added a personal-best time of 1:51.
