KENT, Ohio –– In partnership with Van Wagner, Kent State Student-Athlete Development held a career night titled "Further on Flashes" that has set a new standard for student-athlete engagement and opportunities. Over 20 companies from various sectors, including education, professional sports, financial services, and more were in attendance.
The event was primarily aimed at junior student-athletes, although seniors who were still in the process of deciding their future careers were also welcomed. More than 80 student-athletes attended, underscoring the wide appeal and high interest among Kent State's student-athletes.
The night featured Dr. Farrow, an orthopedic surgeon at the Cleveland Clinic and Rheumatologic Institute, and Andrea Arney, the director of orthopedic surgery & sports medicine.
