KENT, Ohio –– A group of Kent State Golden Flashes women student-athletes spent their Wednesday morning at Theodore Roosevelt High, ready to inspire the next generation of athletes.
The event featured four specialized discussion groups, each focusing on a different aspect of student-athlete life. Each Kent State student-athlete maintained their assigned topic throughout the rotations, speaking with a group of high school student-athletes during each 10-minute session.
"This was a perfect event to kick off during Women's History Month," said Kent State's Deputy Athletics Director and Senior Woman Administrator, Suzette McQueen. "Thank you to Ben Dunlap and staff for welcoming us, and I'm excited to see where our partnership can go with additional opportunities to engage with their students.
