KENT, Ohio – The Kent State field hockey team (6-5, 4-0 MAC) won 5-0 against Central Michigan this afternoon.
The Golden Flashes celebrated the class of 2022 before the game for senior day. The Flashes dominated on the field with shots (25-3), shots on goal (15-2), and corners (6-2). In the first quarter, Sydney Washburn scored her second goal of the season, and two minutes later, Danielle Hamm converted a goal off a penalty corner.
Going into the second quarter, Kent State had a 2-0 lead over Central Michigan. During a penalty corner, Agustina Florio scored the third goal of the game from assists by Larissa Balachick and Danielle Hamm.
