KENT, Ohio – The Kent State field hockey team (4-4, 2-0 MAC) dominated on the field against Ball State (4-3, 1-1 MAC) to win 7-0.
The Golden Flashes came out strong in the first quarter when Larissa Balachick scored her first goal of the season in the first 2 minutes. Entering the second quarter, at 9:19, the Flashes earned a penalty corner and Maria Cambra Soler converted a goal with assists from Larissa Balachick and Danielle Hamm. Keeping up the momentum, Patricia Strunk also scored her first goal off a penalty corner.
