RIO GRANDE, P.R.- A superb second-round performance by three Flashes enabled the Kent State women's golf team to vault into the team lead at the Lady Puerto Rico Classic on Monday afternoon.
Junior Karoline Stormo fired a 1-under par 71 score for the second round that was highlighted by opening the round with four straight birdies. After a 36-hole total of 4-under, Stormo is in the hunt for stroke-play honors tied for first, with the closing 18 holes on tap for Tuesday.
Senior Michaela Finn and junior Pimnipa Panthong both shot even-par scores in the second round.
