Kent State track and field student-athletes totaled victories in nine events on Saturday during competition at the Jim Freeman/Clark Wood Invitational and the Ashland Alumni Open.

Alexandre Malanda won the men's triple jump with an outdoor personal-best mark of 52'-8.75" that ranks fourth in Kent State history. Nicolas Saviron placed fourth in the event with a jump of 48'-8.25".
The Golden Flashes' men's 4x100-meter relay squad of Sean Callahan Jr., Ryan Gruss, Dejon Manning and Jaheim Jones was also victorious in a time of 39.
