KENT, Ohio – Kent State defeated Western Michigan, 3-1 (25-22, 25-21, 20-25, 25-19), inside of the M.A.C. Center on Saturday evening to earn consecutive Mid-American Conference victories for the first time this season.
The Golden Flashes (11-13, 4-6 MAC) improved to 6-2 at home this season and will play four of the final six matches of the regular season at the M.A.C. Center.
"We are finding ways to win, which is the biggest thing," head coach Don Gromala said. "With all of the different lineups we have been forced to use this season, we are finally having some time playing together with the same unit of the floor.
