BUFFALO, N.Y. –The Kent State University baseball team (13-17, 3-4 MAC) was held to just four hits in a 13-2 road loss to Canisius (14-17, 7-2 MAAC). Senior Kian O'Brien highlighted the Kent State offense, launching his fifth home run of the season in the top of the seventh, his third long ball in the past four games.
The Golden Griffins jumped out to a quick 2-0 lead, knocking the first two pitches they saw out of the park.
The Flashes got on the scoreboard in the top of the fourth inning to cut into the deficit.
