INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – Mid-American Conference Tournament champion Kent State is headed to Waco, Texas for NCAA Regional action this weekend (May 19-21).
The Golden Flashes (36-22) earned the No. 4 seed in the NCAA Waco Regional, and will face host Baylor, who is the No. 15 national seed, on Friday at 7:30 p.m. at Getterman Stadium. James Madison and Oregon State complete the Waco Regional field.
The winner of the double elimination weekend will advance to the NCAA Super Regional May 25-28.
Kent State accomplished the improbable by winning three games on Saturday to capture its third MAC Tournament crown.
