Awendaw, SC... After posting the best result of their spring season at the General Hackler in South Carolina next week, the Kent State men's golf team will return to the Palmetto State for this year's Hootie at Bulls Bay Intercollegiate.
"This is a good event for us," KSU head coach Jon Mills said. "We've played this course a lot in the past and we definitely have a good grasp on how to handle it. Wind conditions will be fairly demanding this week but it's nothing we haven't seen before."
Last time out, Kent State wrapped up the General Hackler in a tie for fourth amidst a strong 14-team field, thanks in large part to the stellar play of Cade Breitenstine, who finished his event in a tie for 8th.
