KENT, Ohio – For the first time in program history, the Kent State women's basketball team will compete on national television in front of its home fans on Sunday, January 14, against Northern Illinois.
The Golden Flashes (9-4, 3-0 MAC) will take on Northern Illinois (8-6, 2-1 MAC) on CBS Sports Network at 6 p.m. The Huskies have won four of their last five while the Flashes are riding a five-game winning streak. Kent State holds a 25-18 advantage in the all-time series, winning five of the last six against NIU, and boasts a 15-4 record over the Huskies in the M.
