CLEVELAND, Ohio –Twenty-eight Kent State student-athletes earned Indoor Track & Field Academic All-MAC honors, as the Mid-American Conference recognized a total of 239 student-athletes for their successes in the classroom and in competition Wednesday morning.
The Golden Flashes' 28 recipients ranks third among conference schools. Kevin Jones is one of only 13 student-athletes with a perfect 4.0 cumulative grade point average.
The Academic All-MAC honor is for a student-athlete who has excelled in athletics and academics. To qualify, a student-athlete must have at least a 3.20 cumulative GAP and have participated in at least 50 percent of the contests for that particular sport.
