The Kent State men’s golf team finished in fourth out of 14 schools at the Bank of Tennessee Intercollegiate Golf Tournament with a score of 839.
The Flashes were only 7 strokes away from first place team East Tennessee State, and were 52 ahead of last place team Villanova.
This has been the Flashes first time finishing top five this season.
The Flashes won the second round with the low score of 275 compared to Eastern Tennessee State which had 279.
The team maintained low scores through the first two rounds with scores as low as 66 for both rounds.
