KENT: Kent State used a three-pronged attack to take down Grambling State 86-57 Friday night at the M.A.C. Center.
The Golden Flashes improved to 5-3 behind the combined efforts of redshirt senior Jimmy Hall, sophomore Jaylin Walker and freshman Mitch Peterson.
The trio combined for 38 of Kent State’s 86 points while Hall continued his hot start to the season with his third double-double (14 points, 13 rebounds). Peterson and Walker each added 12 points and Walker put up a season-high eight rebounds.
“With our team there’s going to be a lot of difference guys on different nights play well,” Flashes coach Rob Senderoff said.
