As Kent State has started to find more of a rhythm offensively, step one in that equation has remained the same — get the ball to Jimmy Hall and see how the defense reacts.
Hall, a first-team All-Mid-American Conference selection last year, has raised his scoring average to 15.5 points per game after he led the Golden Flashes with 21 points in Tuesday’s overtime win against Western Michigan and 18 points in last week’s blowout victory against Oberlin.
Kent State (10-4, 1-0) has won three games in a row, including its MAC opener. Continuing to go through Hall is often the plan of action.
