The Kent State women's basketball team returns to action at the M.A.C. Center against Virginia University of Lynchburg on Monday at 11 a.m. for the annual School Field Trip Day presented by Ohio's 529 College Advantage. More than 1,000 students from local elementary schools are expected to attend the game.
The Golden Flashes (5-4) dominated the second half to beat Niagara, 89-73, for the first true road win of the season back on Dec. 5. Kent State committed five early turnovers against the host's pressure defense and fell behind by nine less than six minutes into the contest before battling back to lead by one point at halftime.
