The Kent State women's basketball team returns to action at the M.A.C. Center against Lake Erie on Tuesday at 11 a.m. for School Field Trip Day presented by Ohio's 529 College Advantage. More than 1,000 students from local elementary schools are expected at the game.
Forward Jenna Batsch has been among the most improved players in the Mid-American Conference this season and is the leading scorer at 11.6 points per game. Preseason All-MAC First Team guard Katie Shumate adds 10.5 points per game and team-high 6.9 rebounds per game. Guard Corynne Hauser averages 4.
