Kent State Field Hockey Bounces Back with Win Over Saint Louis

Saint Louis, Mo.- The Kent State field hockey team hit season bests in offense and defense Sunday in a 5-0 win over Saint Louis. The Flashes scored more goals than in any other game this fall while earning their second shutout of the season.

The Flashes (4-3) outshot the Billikens 23-4 with 15 shots on target to Saint Louis' two.

It didn't take long for the Flashes' offense to start attacking as Helena Cambra Soler scored her first goal of the season within two minutes of the game. Cambra Soler's goal came from a deflection off a corner with the assist from Laila Richter.
