Spokane, WA - The Kent State men's basketball team fell short to Gonzaga, 77-66, Monday night inside the McCarthey Athletic Center.
In a game that had 12 different lead changes, the Flashes could not get the lead they needed in order to secure the win. Miryne Thomas got the Flashes on the board scoring the first five points of the game. Thomas recorded a team-high 16 points including four 3-pointers. Malique Jacobs also helped keep the team afloat with his 11 points and five rebounds.
The fans were full of commotion when the Flashes pulled a 66-62 lead with just under four minutes left of the game.
