TOLEDO, Ohio – Kent State dropped two games to host Toledo on Saturday afternoon, 8-4 and 4-3.
The Golden Flashes (18-14, 4-6 MAC) totaled 17 hits, led by a four-hit day from graduate student Julia Mazanec. Sophomore Bri Despines and Carley Penner added three hits each.
Freshman Megan Claerhout launched her first collegiate home run in the second game.
