ATHENS — The Kent State women's basketball team finished a 2-0 week with a 108-24 victory over Amilla Peristeriou BC on Friday.
Each Golden Flash who saw action scored at least four points, with seven reaching double-figures. Freshmen Janae Tyler and Mya Babbitt, as Tyler had a game-high 17 points and grabbed nine rebounds while Babbitt added 12 points. Both recorded four steals as part of a team defensive effort that forced 32 turnovers.
Redshirt senior Katie Shumate finished with 11 points and 10 rebounds for her second double-double of the trip.
