AKRON, Ohio – The Kent State track and field team totaled 11 wins during competition at the Northeast Ohio Open on April 7-8.
The Golden Flashes captured five events in sprints and hurdles. Dejon Manning clocked a pair of personal-best times to win the men's 100-meter dash (10.64) and place second in the men's 200-meter dash (21.36). Asa Hodrick won the men's 200m in 21.13 seconds and finished the men's 100m in 10.65 seconds for second. Jonathan Solomon won the men's 400-meter dash in 47.
