KENT, Ohio – The Kent State University men's basketball team (19-13) is headed to Cleveland after setting a new MAC Tournament scoring record at home against the Central Michigan Chippewas (16-16) Monday, 116-106 (OT).
The victory put the Golden Flashes in the quarterfinal round at Quicken Loans Arena in the nightcap Thursday against third-seeded Buffalo. The game will start 30 minutes after the first game of the session at 6:30 p.m.
