Kent State Bests Evansville 6-3

KOKOMO, Ind. – Kent State (14-5) won its first midweek game of the season on Tuesday as the team beat Evansville (9-10) 6-3 at a neutral site in Kokomo, Indiana.

It didn't take much time for the Flashes to grab a lead as they scored two runs in the 1st and followed that up with a three-run 2nd. In the opening frame, Zach Beckner singled before Dylan Rosa cracked a homerun to dead center field. In the 2nd, Conner Simonetti led off the inning with a single and Tim DalPorto reached on an error to put two on.
