KENT: Senior forward Jimmy Hall could play his final game for Kent State on Monday night, but he insists his mind hasn’t wandered elsewhere just yet.
The Flashes (18-13, 10-8 Mid-American Conference) slipped to the sixth overall seed in the MAC Tournament following their loss to rival Akron on Friday. The loss ended a five-game winning streak, and though the circumstances were unlikely, the Flashes might have positioned themselves into a first-round bye with a win against the Zips. Instead, they will host No. 11 Central Michigan the M.A.C. Center.
Despite the fact the Chippewas (16-15, 6-12 MAC) have lost seven consecutive games, Hall will need his focus.
