Kent State 85, Toledo 61: Flashes end losing streak with blowout win over Rockets

KENT: With Kent State President Beverly Warren and Director of Athletics Joel Nielsen looking on, coach Rob Senderoff analyzed the box score of the Golden Flashes’ 85-61 win over Toledo on Saturday night at the M.A.C. Center.

Senderoff sat in the media room, just minutes removed from the Flashes’ first win since their Mid-American Conference opener against Ball State. His team played in front of its first home sellout crowd this year, in large part thanks to the university’s “A Brand New Gameday” event. With a game-high 27 points, senior forward Jimmy Hall became one of the Flashes’ top 10 scorers of all-time.
