LAWRENCE, Kan. – The Kent State women's golf team concluded their fourth tournament of the Fall on Tuesday with round three of the Marilynn Smith Sunflower Invitational. The Flashes fired a 16-over-par 304 in round three to end the event in third place of the 13 teams competing at 19-over-par. Veronika Kedronova fired a final-round even-par 72 to claim the individual championship at 5-under-par.
For Kedronova, Tuesday marks her second win of the season and third of her career after winning the Red Raider Invitational just two weeks ago. The sophomore entered round three tied with four other golfers at 5-under-par and outlasted all four, finishing two strokes ahead of multiple golfers in second place.
