LAS VEGAS — Kent State University freshman Veronika Kedronova punched her ticket to the 2024 NCAA Women's Golf Championship after tying for sixth at the Las Vegas Regional. Kedronova shot 1-under par, 215 over three rounds at Spanish Trail Country Club to finish as the top individual not on one of the five advancing teams.
This is the second year in a row the Golden Flashes will have a rookie compete at the NCAA Championship, as Leon Takagi accomplished it last season.
Kedronova entered the day three strokes behind the leader for the individual qualifying spot and dug a larger deficit with bogies on three of her first seven holes.
