CLEVELAND - Kent State University men's basketball senior Jimmy Hall earned the year's first Mid-American Conference East Division Player of the Week award.
Hall earned the honor for a landmark night against Cleveland State Saturday, guiding the team to a 79-74 overtime win. Hall was the team's leader with 19 points, 18 rebounds and four assists. His 18 rebounds is a new career-high.
While Cleveland State went hot from 3-point range in the 2nd half, Hall scored 15 points on 6-for-10 shooting to keep Cleveland State at bay. His four assists were in big moments, as two came on 3-pointers.
